Why I Made This Site
Well, I’m sure my first and foremost reason for making this site is obvious; I am a really big fan of BLOOD. When I saw them at Ohayocon, I loved their music, and I was so impressed by their ability to connect with the audience; their stage presence was just amazing. I knew right away that I would always be a BLOOD fan. I could tell how much Kiwamu and Kaede loved and appreciated their fans (in fact, at one point during the concert, Kiwamu started to announce which song they were going to play next, and one of their fans shouted “I love you Kiwamu”. He laughed a little bit, and said “I love you too”); I don’t know of any other band that cares about their fans more.
I also wanted to make this site as my way of saying Thank You to BLOOD for allowing me to take photos of their show at Ohayocon. Although they don’t realize it, to me that was probably the one of the greatest gifts they ever could have given me. You see, it is my aspiration to become a professional photographer, but it is a difficult (and very expensive) business to get started in, and it is very easy to become discouraged. It is a goal I have been pursuing for a long time, and there have been many times when I have felt like giving up. For me, photography is a form of art, and every artist needs to feel inspired in order to create. This is something that had been a problem for me for a long time before I saw BLOOD; I felt like I had lost my inspiration, and it had been a long time since I had done any photography. Having the opportunity to take photos of BLOOD at Ohayocon was so exciting to me; it reminded me of why I had wanted to become a photographer, and how much I really love it. I was also very inspired by how much BLOOD has done on their own, and I was especially inspired by Kiwamu, he is so talented, and he works very hard to make BLOOD successful. All of this has given me the inspiration and the will to keep trying to pursue a career in photography, and for that they will have my eternal gratitude. I feel like they have done so much for me, and I wanted to find a way to let them know how much I appreciate it, and so that is why I decided to make this site. It is just my way of trying to give something in return for all they have done for me.
