Going to the movies for the first time in so long was a nice change of pace, but there was one thing I found disappointing... I prefer to watch movies in big open spaces with no one else around, and usually there aren't many people at this particular movie theater, but on that day for some reason there were so many people that I just couldn't feel comfortable. Next time I go there, I hope there will be fewer people.
It seems that full BLOOD ringtones are now available for download. Everyone please download them all, ok? Unfortunately, it seems that they won't work for DoCoMo users, though. Anyway, our next live is next month in Mexico. I look forward to having everyone come see us. P.S - To everyone who wished me a happy birthday, thank you. It made me very happy.
Today the prince of BLOOD took part in a session live, so I went to see it. Since this was only the second session live I've seen and usually I can only see his back when he's performing, seeing the prince's face felt very different, but very fresh and interesting.
Vol. 187 [My latest routine]
I've been reading a novel on a mobile website as part of my latest routine. It's updated every day a little at a time, so it feels like I can do the reading in just a short span of time. The story's point of view is shared by all the characters in the story, male and female, so it can be seen from all sides. Looking at it that way means I can see how things really happen, and that makes it really interesting.
So, the season of changing colors is drawing near. And the weather has become appropriately cold. In this turning point between seasons, when the days are cool and the nights are freezing cold, it's very easy to get sick, so everyone please take care, ok?
Our Toyama live has also ended successfully. I was surprised to see so many people come despite the fact that it was in a place we'd never played before, and the organizers did a great job, so I was very happy with the way it went. If we are called there again, I would love to go back. Thank you so much, everyone.
It's become quite chilly here, hasn't it? And the nights are just plain cold. BLOOD's first sponsor event has just ended successfully, and next is our oneman. It will be our first time at this Japanese venue, so just like with our overseas lives, there's a lot to look forward to.
The time has finally come for BLOOD's first sponsor event. There's really a lot to look forward to there. The other day I watched some of our old live video footage for the first time in a while. We're completely different now, aren't we? Of course the atmosphere of the band, the quality of our lives, the melodies, and the sound had their high and low points. To me there's no comparison - we're definitely much better now than we were then. In that moment I could feel just how much we've grown.
August has ended and September has at last begun. And as the days become cooler, you can really feel the coming end of summer, can't you? And now we proceed into the season of sorrow.
First of all, I'm home. We returned safely to Japan. We went to a lot of new countries on this tour, so I was a little nervous, but each country gave us a warm welcome so everything went quite easily. There were no problems and the tour ended without incident, so it was a great tour.
As next week's European tour draws nearer, little by little I've begun to make preparations. I'm really excited to see how the reaction will be this time in all these countries that we've never been to before.
When I walk along the same street as usual at a different time than usual, even though the flow of time is the same, it's like walking in another world. I walked along thinking, can something really change this much just because the time is different?
Like I always do, I've replaced the strings on my bass again. It really is always great to hear a bass with newly changed strings. Recently I've been listening to songs of genres I never listened to before. I think it's always good to take in things that are new to me.
Good evening everyone. The peak of the summer heat has set in, hasn't it? In continuation of [VENGEANCE for BLOOD Extra] "Endless Spiral of Tragedy", [VENGEANCE for BLOOD 6] has been confirmed. To all those who weren't able to come see our last oneman live, please don't miss out on [VENGEANCE for BLOOD 6].
The days are still hot as usual, aren't they? And in the middle of it all, the second mini-album in BLOOD's trilogy, [VENGEANCE for BLOOD 2], has at last gone on sale. I think everyone has been able to get it already, but for those who haven't, please do hurry. Just like our previous album, this has turned into another great work, so I think you'll all like it. The songs from this CD will become the main songs we play at our lives as well, so please look forward to hearing them.
Before I knew it, suddenly Tanabata was here. Did you all write your wishes on paper? This year Tanabata was on the 7th day of the 7th month of the 17th year, so I think good things are bound to happen. I wonder if the stars Vega and Altair found happiness in their annual reunion too?
Have you ever felt like you were about to die? I've just had my first such experience. It happened while I was driving my car. The left rear tire blew out and the car wavered and went into a spin. I can't even describe how it felt as my heart was racing. Everyone, please be careful and pay very close attention when driving, okay?
Good evening everyone. BLOOD's latest recording session has at last reached its end. The order that we do our recording in has changed a bit, so now my turn comes last. And my turn has finally come and gone, so from now on we start putting everything together. I really like this part of the recording process. It's the one part I can really focus my energy on.
Vol. 168 [A miracle]
In this town full of so many people, I thought it would take something close to a miracle to encounter the same complete stranger so many times. Even if one does see the same stranger more than once, normally you wouldn't remember them the second time... But that miracle did happen before my own eyes. It wasn't that anything in particular changed, but the retreating form of that stranger happened to catch my eye. I ended up seeing the person several times in one day, or to be more exact, in a few hours. The stranger didn't notice it, but I did. And of course, I couldn't help but smile.
How are you all passing these continuing warm days? As for me, I like to drink a cup of my favorite coffee while basking in the warm sunlight. Recently something happened that made me think about how flexible the mind of a child really is. You know ticket machines these days have signs on them saying "Old 500 yen coins not accepted," right? When adults read that, they think everyone reads it the same way, but apparently children read it as "500 yen per day not accepted." When I heard a child say that by the ticket machine, I wondered if he was talking about allowance from his father. Then when I was putting my change into the machine, I realized what he meant.
Vol. 164 [Good evening everyone.]
The sakura are blooming. The scenery around town shows signs of springtime too. Am I the only one who feels so lighthearted? Spring is so wonderful! It has so many symbolic meanings and everything is fresh and new.
