BLOOD concert review
Glaz'Art~France

concert review by Adam

OH MY GOD! That was the best gig I've ever been to in my LIFE!

The night started off with a french goth band called Kairo, who were cool, but nothing too special. Then the curtains were drawn and you could see Kiwamu (wearing black feather wings) setting things up on the side of the stage! He looked so good in a gothic black dress. Then the curtains came back and there they were, straight into "BLOOD", they were amazing! Kaede looked so elegant, Fu-ki sounded phenominal and Kiwamu was crazy, spinning around, falling over, moshing and head banging, then posing for pictures! Then they played "Sweetest Disease", Kiwamu started dribbling lots of fake blood all over himself which was great, he even went behind Fu-ki at one point, hugged him, stroked his face, bit of fan service for the crowd!

I wish I had managed to catch some of the things they were throwing into the audience! By this time I had managed to get to the front of the stage, Kiwamu started stage diving, I got to stroke his face, neck and chest XD

After a few more excellent and moshy songs, they flung bottles of water all over us and left for 10 minutes to get dryed off and sorted for another round of ass-kicking music. Fu-ki spoke such excellent english in between songs, asking if we were ok and having a great time, obvious answer was "YESSS!!!". Thing is, as most of the people there were French, I bet me, my girlfriend and my two girly friends were the only ones who understood them! Kiwamu kept stage diving, one got a bit mad where he was pulled back on by security and was on all fours, everyone thought he was hurt, but after a few seconds he jumped back up and carried on playing, to which everyone cheered. More songs like "Death Dies" "New Song" and "Sakura" were played, such amazing talent. Kiwamu swapped stage positions with Kaede often, towards the end of the gig, I reached out and he grabbed my hand, tickled my palm, twiddled my fingers and smiled at me. WOOOOOOO!

Then it came to an end, sadly, it was funny though, Kiwamu grabbed Fu-ki and threw him into the audience, which was hilarious, the look on his face, when he got back on stage, he fell backwards and we got to see his bare body briefly!

After they had said it was great to have played for the night, they left the stage. Me and my group recovered in the bar at the back of the Glaz'art building for a while, then all of a sudden Fu-ki appeared to do signings at the corner of the bar! We grabbed our stuff and got in the queue! By the time we got to the front, Kiwamu joined him! I got my lil promo thingy signed by the both of them, then I posed for a photo, Fu-ki and Kiwamu wrapped their arms around me and I did the same, photo taken and before they let go, I KISSED both of them on the cheek. This made Kiwamu laugh, I think I was the only guy to have kissed them that evening!

A little while later, whilst getting water from the bar, I looked at the other end to where the signings were still going on, Kiwamu looked over and I waved to him. He waved back and laughed some more!

We lounged about a bit, listening to the music played to the party, most of it was really heavy Jrock, Dir En Grey etc. Kaede appeared, still looking divine, then I stalked the other members a bit before they left.

BLOOD were outstanding on stage, next time I get chance I'll be seeing them again, wonder if they'll remember me......
